PhD was born in Niigata Prefecture and is a graduate of Tokyo University of Artistic Education’s Art Education Department and Nagaoka Institute of Design. An Independent
artist based in Tokyo, she authorises paintings, prints and installations. Associate
professor at the Faculty of Education of the Musashino University (Tokyo). Her primary research is artistic education systems in intercultural contexts; she authorises numerous critical and scientific texts. Exhibited her artworks at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, the National Art Center, and the Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of Art — award-winning member of the Japanese Association of Women Artists.
