PJAIT Bioinformatics Club is a new student research circle at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology, which was established to enable students to develop their knowledge and skills in the field of bioinformatics. The club's activities cover a wide area range of topics, such as the analysis of biological data (genomics, proteomics), molecular modeling, and the use of artificial intelligence methods in the analysis of biological and medical data, in DNA sequencing, and for protein structure prediction. Members of the circle will have the opportunity to participate in workshops, research projects and scientific events, collaborating with experts and companies in the bioinformatics industry.

With the support of the Department of Bioinformatics, PJAIT Bioinformatics Club will organize regular meetings where members will gain practical skills such as programming in R and Python, protein modeling with AlphaFold, and drug design. In addition, we plan to organize workshops and hackathons, as well as participate in conferences, which will enable our members to gain experience and make professional contacts. The interdisciplinary nature of the circle's activities will allow us to collaborate with other circles and university departments working in related fields, such as artificial intelligence or biomedical engineering.

PJAIT Bioinformatics Club is a space for students who want to develop academically and professionally in the field of bioinformatics. The club's activities will contribute to the development of the university, strengthening its position as an educational and research center and supporting students in their academic and professional development.
