Foreign students

Please be advised that, by decision of the Minister of the Interior and Administration dated April 17, 2026, PJAIT approved as academy to admit foreign nationals for the purpose of pursuing or continuing their studies. The authorization was granted for the maximum period provided for by law, i.e., 5 years.
Preparatory and Matura exam courses
Short courses for prospective students
Do you dream of studying at the best private university specializing in IT? Do you think this is what you want to do in the future and earn good money doing it? However, do you feel that you still need to prepare for your high school final exams in mathematics or computer science? Or maybe you want to learn what Adobe CC is and improve your artistic skills?
Preparatory course in drawing, painting, and art history for degree programmes offered at the Faculty of New Media Arts.
The course includes 64 lesson hours (16 meetings x 4 lesson hours).
Cost of the course: 1800 PLN.
The course, taught by PJAIT lecturers, aims to prepare secondary school students for the advanced-level mathematics matriculation exam. Classes will be held remotely via the MS Teams platform.
The course comprises 60 academic hours (20 sessions × 3 academic hours).
Course cost: PLN 1,200.
The matriculation course aims to prepare secondary school students for the advanced-level computer science matriculation exam. Classes will be held remotely via the MS Teams platform.
The course comprises 40 academic hours (10 sessions × 4 academic hours).
Course cost: PLN 1,200.
Online courses
Semester courses to supplement knowledge and skills
We offer the opportunity to participate in online courses for individuals who want to acquire or supplement their knowledge and skills in the area of the latest IT methods and technologies.
Course participants can take part in selected classes conducted as part of online engineering studies without having to enroll in the full degree program. At the end of the course, an exam/assessment is held, upon passing which the participant receives a course completion certificate.

One year preparatory courses
PJAIT organizes two types of preparatory courses:
Applications will open on May 4, 2026.
Language - their goal is to improve language proficiency to the B2 level in four areas: listening comprehension, reading, speaking and writing. The course prepares you to pass certified language exams. English and Polish language courses are currently being conducted.
Artistic - Zero NeMA course - for people interested in art, both those who already have creative experience and those taking their first steps in the field. This is an ideal opportunity to develop your skills and prepare for art studies at PJAIT.
"Kurs Zero" is a special program for individuals who want to apply to the Faculty of New Media Arts and in the future develop their passions and opportunities at PJAIT.
This program aims to prepare candidates for entrance exams and familiarize them with the learning process undertaken in the first year of studies. The course spans two semesters of classes (420 academic hours), during which prospective students will create their digital and traditional portfolios under the guidance of the PJAIT faculty. Our experienced instructors will also prepare future candidates for the interview.
The one-year language course is an intensive preparatory program for candidates who plan to study in Poland, but do not have a B2 language certificate. Classes include two semesters of intensive Polish or English language study, taught by experienced teachers.

Free language courses for international students
We warmly invite you to free language courses for foreigners organized by PJAIT.
Course participants can attend Polish and/or English language courses. Students admitted to the first year of studies can take part in the course.

TECH + ART + JAPAN is what sets us apart!
PJAIT with technology, multimedia art, comics, games, and, of course, Japan! No wonder, as for over 30 years, the University has educated nearly 15,000 graduates who have spread out all over the world. Regardless of what interests you or what your hobbies are, it is worth cultivating them, even during your studies!
The university is authorized to offer programs in the following fields: computer science, cognitive science, information management, graphic design multimedia art, graphic design, interior design and cultural studies in the two most important cities in Poland – Warsaw and Gdańsk (in Gdańsk, you can currently study at the Faculty of Computer Science and New Media Arts (field of study graphic design). Thanks to international cooperation and plans to increase the internationalization of the University, candidates can choose to study in English. These are the following fields of study: computer science, information management, graphic design multimedia arts.

Tuition fees

Transfer from another university
We offer students from other universities the opportunity to start their studies in higher semesters across all fields of study. Students from other universities who wish to transfer to PJAIT during their studies can start in a higher semester by transferring courses they have already passed.
NOTE: Please remember that completing a specific number of semesters at your current university does not guarantee starting from the next semester at PJAIT.

Validation of learning outcomes
The validation of learning outcomes is a process that allows you to receive credit for individual subjects from the curriculum based on experience and knowledge acquired outside the traditional academic education system, e.g., through certified courses, training, or professional experience.
A candidate admitted to studies will have the opportunity to shorten their study period by getting credit for some subjects through the validation of learning outcomes. The validation procedure allows candidates with appropriate qualifications and certificates to enroll.
Regulations for the confirmation of learning outcomes can be found under the tab Public Information Bulletin - Important Documents of PJAIT.
- secondary school leaving certificate and at least 5 years of professional experience – for a bachelor's degree;
- full qualification at level 5 of the PQF (Polish Qualifications Framework) or a qualification awarded within a foreign higher education system corresponding to level 5 of the European Qualifications Framework – for a bachelor's degree;
- full qualification at level 6 of the Polish Qualifications Framework and at least 3 years of professional experience after completing bachelor's studies – for a master's degree;
- full qualification at level 7 of the PQF and at least 2 years of professional experience after completing a master's degree or uniform master's studies – for a master's degree.

The help for candidates at PJAIT is provided stationary, by phone and by e-mail.
In the first stage of recruitment , documents should be uploaded to your recruitment profile only in electronic version (.pdf files).
Upon qualification for the studies, the candidate is required to present original documents for inspection (high school diploma, diploma of graduation with supplement, etc.).
Documents can:
- deliver in person
- deliver by a "third party"
- send by courier/mail
- leave in the box by the reception desk in building B
