Language requirements for foreigners applying to university

Candidates for study at PJAIT must demonstrate proficiency in the language at a minimum B2 level in which they plan to study. Verification of language proficiency is based on an online interview.

Note: Due to the ongoing work on the new Law on Amendments to Certain Laws to Eliminate Irregularities in the Visa System of the Republic of Poland , the language verification rules for foreigners may be subject to change.

Candidates (foreigners) are exempted from the language interview if they meet a minimum of 1 of the following conditions:


Interview exemption certificates:

English

We accept language certificates attesting to English language proficiency of min. B2.

Polish

We accept certificates certifying knowledge of the Polish language at the level of min. B2.

In addition, exemptions from the interview also occur in the following cases:

English

  • English is the official language in the State from which the candidate comes;
  • Have passed English at the extended level on the Polish high school diploma;
  • Have passed an English-language baccalaureate, such as IB Diploma, A-level, SAT, Cambridge International AS or A-level;
  • English was the language of study.

Polish

  • have a secondary school graduation certificate in Poland or have a Polish high school diploma/diploma of completion of I / II degree in Polish;
  • have completed a preparatory course for study in Polish in units designated by the minister responsible for higher education;
  • Polish was the language of study.


Signing up for interviews

Registration for the language interview is done through the recruitment portal.

In the event that the language interview procedure begins even before the official start of recruitment, enrollment will be done through a dedicated form.


Charges

The call is subject to a fee of PLN 100.

Payment is made by wire transfer to the individual account specified in the recruitment profile or in the form.

In the case of a negative assessment, the candidate may retake the interview. There is a fee of PLN 100 for the re-sit interview.


Form of conversation

Language conversations are held remotely through the GoogleMeet platform .

The candidate must have a Gmail account.

During the interview, the candidate must have the camera on and have a passport or other official document with a photo.

Call times are given according to the time zone in effect in Poland.
