Language requirements for foreigners applying to university
Candidates for study at PJAIT must demonstrate a minimum B2 proficiency in the language in which they plan to study.
In connection with the publication of a new regulation by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, we would like to inform you that academy cannot verify Polish and English language skills. Authorized to do so are the institutions indicated in the regulation.
Certificates, proving knowledge of a foreign language
English
We accept language certificates certifying English proficiency at min. B2 indicated in the regulation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Polish
We accept certificates certifying knowledge of the Polish language at the level of min. B2 indicated in the ordinance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Language certificates are not required in the following cases:
English
- The candidate has passed an English-language baccalaureate, such as the IB Diploma, European Baccalaureate Diploma, A-level, SAT, Cambridge International AS or A-level;
- the candidate has a certificate of completion of a one-year preparatory course, certifying English language proficiency in the four skills: listening comprehension, reading, speaking and writing, at the B2, C1 or C2 proficiency level. The certificate must be issued by a Polish university;
- English was the language in which it was taught in the first or second degree program.
Polish
- the candidate has a Polish high school diploma / diploma of completion of I / II degree studies in Polish;
- the candidate has completed a one-year preparatory course for study in Polish in units designated by the minister responsible for higher education.
