The Student Council is made up of all students studying at our academy – including you! It is the exclusive statutory representative of our affairs. We represent the needs of the student community both within the academy (before the academy authorities) and in the inter-university environment.
We handle social welfare and scholarship matters!
That's right! We are the ones who process your scholarship applications. The University Scholarship Committee (UKS) has 7 student members, while the University Scholarship Appeal Committee (UOKS) consists of 3 students. Both bodies also include an administrative employee acting in an advisory capacity to the committee members.
We always try to process applications in the best interest of the students!
We represent your interests!
The academy consists of many organizational units, and not all of our comments are always noticed. Our task, as a liaison between the student community and the academy authorities, is to discuss the topics you raise in conversations with people responsible for the academy's operations.
In addition, we represent students studying at PJAIT in bodies such as the Academy Senate or Faculty Councils (including curriculum committees appointed within the faculties).
We adapt cultural life!
We actively participate in events taking place on our academy's campus, as well as organizing our own!
If you enjoy social life, you will certainly find your place at events such as the Freshmen Welcome Party or Mid-term Party organized by our Student Council. It is a great opportunity to integrate together, celebrate smaller and larger student successes, or warm up on the dance floor before the upcoming challenges we will undertake. :-)
Integration trips!
Integration trips are an opportunity for students to get to know each other better, build cooperation, and strengthen their sense of academic community. The program of such trips combines activities that promote integration, develop soft skills, and provide a break from the daily routine of classes.
The program often includes sports activities, evening events, and thematic panels that allow participants to develop their interests and build relationships in an informal atmosphere.
Such initiatives increase student engagement, facilitate adaptation to a new environment, and support the building of a strong, active university community.
We represent students in Poland as a whole!
As the Student Council, we often cooperate with the representatives of other student councils, both from Warsaw and nationwide. We belong to the Agreement of Warsaw Non-Public Higher Education Institutions (SUN) and the Forum of Non-Public Higher Education Institutions (FUN).
Both groups associate student councils of non-public higher education institutions, where SUN operates within Warsaw institutions, while FUN operates nationwide.
The Republic of Poland Students' Parliament (PSRP), in turn, is made up of all students studying within the territory of the Republic of Poland, including us! :-)
