NAVOICA
The Department of Bioinformatics and Artificial Intelligence Applications at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Computer Science has secured funding to develop free online courses on the NAVOICA platform.
The Polish-Japanese Academy of Computer Technology is carrying out tasks as part of the project “Supporting Higher Education Institutions’ Programs for the Development of Adult Competencies through the NAVOICA Platform, ” co-financed by the European Union under the European Funds for Social Development 2021–2027 program, from the European Social Fund Plus.
The goal of the project is to support the development of adult competencies and the concept of lifelong learning. The project assists higher education institutions in developing educational programs for adults. The courses are intended for adults interested in expanding their knowledge and skills, including those who are active in the labor market.
Activities and Results: This nationwide project aims to develop and make available at least 150 free, open online MOOC courses on the NAVOICA platform. Learning will take place asynchronously, with no limit on the number of participants. As part of this project, the Department of Bioinformatics and Artificial Intelligence Applications at PJAIT is developing a total of 12 courses. The tasks of PJAIT include developing instructional materials for these courses and collaborating with the Information Processing Center – National Research Institute (OPI PIB) on their preparation and publication on the platform.

Of the 12 courses, five are currently covered by existing contracts:

Course Release Schedule
The courses are currently being developed. The release dates, registration information, and direct links will be published on this page once the schedule has been finalized with OPI PIB. The courses will be available online on the NAVOICA platform.

Total value of the nationwideproject : 19,373,825.96 PLN.
