A course to prepare for the Extended Baccalaureate in Computer Science

General information

Classes will be held remotely using the MS Teams platform. Students must have access to MS Office – Excel, Access, and a selected toolfor interpreting (Python) or compiling(C++/Java)code.

Course enrollment procedure

  1. The candidate must register for the course.
  2. He downloads the application and signed uploads to his profile - file. pdf.
  3. Once the application is approved, the candidate makes a payment for the selected course to the individual account number that appears on the registration profile.
  4. Once the payment is made, the candidate uploads the payment confirmation to his profile.
  5. The candidate will receive an email with login information one week before the start of the class, please save it, you will need it when the class starts.

Candidates who wish to register for the second course can do so after completing registration for the first course.


Schedule of meetings - computer science

The first class starts on March 4, 2026; the last class is scheduled for March 25, 2026. Classes begin at 5:00 p.m. using the MS Teams platform.

TEACHING STAFF

Piotr Gago, M.Sc.

Specialization: Databases, web applications, cloud solutions, data science, programming

Piotr Gago, M.Sc., is an experienced software engineer, systems architect, and academic teacher specializing in databases, software architecture, artificial intelligence, and data science. He graduated with honors in computer science from the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw, specializing in databases and data warehouses. He is the CEO of ITSol and the vice dean of the information management department at PJAIT.

Maksymilian Kubica, M.Sc.


Specialization: Design and development of 2D/3D/VR/AR multimedia applications, UX/UI, web development, cybersecurity, management, IT process organization, programming, IT systems

Graduate of PJAIT. In 2018 he graduated with a specialization in "multimedia - computer games" and in 2019 in "human-computer interaction" from the department of computer science. Since 2018, as an assistant, he has been teaching exercises and lectures at the departments of computer science, information management and new media arts in English and Polish. Course topics include cybersecurity, UX/UI, multimedia application development (min. using engines such as Unity and UE), computer systems architecture, web development and design, and c++/c#/java/javascript/python programming. He also teaches high school at PJAIT ALO. In his student days, he participated in senate meetings PJAIT, was active in student government and was involved in many volunteer initiatives. He is primarily interested in multimedia in the broadest sense, multimedia applications, their design and UX. He loves hiking in the mountains.

Jakub Wagner

Specialization: computer science, databases, UX/UI

Jakub Wagner has been working with ALO PJAIT for five years, where he teaches computer science, databases, and UX/UI design. His expertise covers both technical and design areas.

Before starting his teaching career, he gained professional experience in the financial sector, where he was involved in maintaining and developing databases in banking structures. This work allowed him to develop practical skills related to data analysis, query optimization, and information security.

At ALO PJAIT , he places PJAIT emphasis on a practical approach to teaching—combining programming, design, and database issues, showing students how interdisciplinary modern computer science is. He is interested in interface design, the usability of information systems, and modern tools that support application development.

Kacper Niedźwiadek, Eng.

Specialization: Software engineering, databases, data science

A graduate of computer science engineering computer science the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw, specializing in software and database engineering. Currently pursuing a master's degree in data science. Passionate about new technologies and their practical applications.

A WOPR lifeguard since the age of 16, as well as an assistant instructor at rescue camps. He loves to travel – so far, he has visited 53 countries on 5 continents. He is fascinated by Spanish culture and language, and one of his favorite travel destinations is Spain. His passions also include inland and sea sailing, skiing, swimming, and running.
