The Cognitive Science program is conducted in full-time mode:
Studies in the Cognitive Science program are conducted full-time, in Polish, and last three years (6 semesters).
In full-time studies, classes are typically held from Monday to Friday between 8:30 and 20:45. Each semester consists of 15 weeks of classes. The academic year lasts from October to the end of June and is divided into two semesters. The program is conducted in Polish, while throughout the entire course of study the university provides intensive English language instruction and optionally Japanese.
The modern curriculum of the Cognitive Science program is tailored to the needs of a dynamically developing digital market, which requires versatile specialists equipped with a set of knowledge, competencies, and skills necessary in a modern economy based on the latest technologies, across a variety of roles related to creating and developing diverse digital products and services, their effective marketing communication, and establishing and developing relationships with technological partners, specialists, and target clients. Potential positions include roles such as product owner, product manager, brand manager, communication manager, account manager, digital content creator, as a few examples from a wide range of creative roles in the application of new technologies in a market context, both in enterprises and in a startup approach.
Interested individuals may also pursue development in research and development as well as analytical directions, including within the rich interdisciplinary offer of PJATK at the second- and third-cycle levels of study.
Free elective Japanese language courses
Students who have completed their first semester of study can take advantage of a unique opportunity to enroll in free optional Japanese language classes.
Classes are only available from the second semester and will be taught from scratch.

In addition to the curriculum, PJAIT organizes workshops, training courses and additional activities that expand the knowledge of students of the Faculty of Computer Science. Thanks to cooperation with business, the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology is able to offer courses year after year that make the curriculum more attractive and keep students' knowledge up to date with the demands of the labor market.
