Information for New Students – Winter Semester 2026/2027

Welcome to the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology!
START OF CLASSES FOR THE WINTER SEMESTER OF THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC YEAR
Classes for first-year students (first semester) begin on:
- for full-time (day) programs on September 28
- for part-time (correspondence—weekend) programs – October 3–4
NOTE: Part-time Bachelor's degree students in the Bachelor's degree of Computer Science who are enrolled in a program that utilizes distance learning methods and techniques are required to take Meeting on campus between September 22 and 25—as part of the course “Introduction to Information Systems” (WSI).

Student account and timetable
Your login and password will be sent in a separate email once Students' Office has entered your information into the student system Students' Office usually a few days after you sign the contract —during the initial enrollment period, this may take longer).
To log in to your student account, go to Students' Office “Web Students' Office.” Once logged in, you can view your personal information, check your payment balance , see your seminar group assignment, submit an application, and more.
You can change your account password using the website haslo.pja.edu.pl
Every student can set an additional "phone password" on their account, which will be required to obtain information over the phone regarding the course of their studies.
The timetable may be subject to modifications at the beginning of the semester.
Team-Building Trip
We invite you to join us for Integral —our annual, official team-building retreat for students.
Trip details:
- Dates: September 16–20
- Location: Holiday Park Kacze Stawy in Łeba (accommodations in comfortable cottages with access to a swimming pool)

Check your mail every day!
Your email inbox is the main channel of communication with teaching and administrative departments (e.g. Students' Office, Accounting). Make sure you have your university email address handy.

Assignment to language groups
Students of Bachelor's degree and second-cycle studies are required to take a short diagnostic test in order to qualify for the appropriate language group (based on their foreign language proficiency level).
The link to the test is sent in the welcome email “Welcome to PJAIT! / Welcome to PJAIT!” after signing the contract with the academy.
Please complete the test independently and thoughtfully, as its result will be the basis for the decision to assign you to a group with the appropriate level of advancement.

Language courses for foreign students
PJAIT offers new foreign students the opportunity to participate in free language courses:
Polish and/or English language courses - monthly courses prior to the start of the academic year(60 hours).

To obtain a certificate of fees required for a residence card (for international students), please contact us in advance by email at ksiegowosc@pja.edu.pl

Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology does not have its own student dormitories; however, students can use the services of dormitories run by other universities or private entities (subject to availability). Students settle all formalities and payments directly with the dormitories.

Part-time online students use theEDUx educational platform.
