"Tokyo Vibe, Warsaw Drive" Hackathon

The Department of Multimedia at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology invites you to participate in a hackathon focused on road safety issues. The centerpiece of the event is a passenger car driving simulator developed at PJAIT part of Patryk Kamiński’s master’s thesis.

As part of the hackathon, participants will be able to take part in three competitions:

  • Secure doors for electric cars. (May 18–22, 2026)
  • An asset for a car driving simulator created using a 3D scan. (May 18–22, 2026)
  • An asset for a car driving simulator created using visuals available online. (May 22, 2026)

Registration for the hackathon will take place from April 27 to 30, 2026, via a form that will be posted on the event website. Space is limited.

Prizes will be awarded to the winners of each competition. All competitions will be preceded by introductory lectures on the event’s theme. A detailed schedule of the lectures will be published on the event’s website
