Recording studio

The laboratory in Room 134 was adapted for sound work already at the design stage. It consists of two rooms (a director's room and a recording studio) separated from each other by double glass and double doors. This is done to provide the best possible acoustic isolation of one room from the other. In addition, care was taken to ensure that the angles between the walls are not straight. This prevents unwanted acoustic phenomena caused by overlapping sound waves due to reflection from opposite walls. In addition, the walls are covered with sound-absorbing material.

Photo studio

The photography studio was established at the beginning of the New Media Art Department and was created by Prof. PJAIT Krzysztof Szklanny. Located in building C in room 26, the studio is equipped with one main workstation with three backgrounds and several additional ones having a single background. An acoustic adaptation has been realized in the studio, built with special panels which allows recording video and sound material for professional purposes.
