Engineering degree program
The engineering curriculum covers issues in the area of effective utilization of information, material, and financial resources available in the enterprise's business environment. This is particularly supported by subjects dedicated to decision-making techniques, improving business processes within the enterprise, or innovative applications of information technology in management.
In full-time studies, classes take place from Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM. Each semester consists of 15 weeks of classes. The academic year lasts from October to the end of June and is divided into two semesters. Studies are conducted in Polish and English.
During the first four semesters, students acquire comprehensive knowledge of organization and management, economics, law, marketing, mathematics, statistics, and the latest IT technologies. In the fifth semester of full-time studies, students choose a specialized area and then begin diploma seminars. As part of the chosen area, the student prepares a thesis concerning practical problems of organization and management, and in particular the issues of information management in an enterprise.
Throughout the course of studies, the academy provides intensive learning of English and optionally Japanese.
Rules for the diploma exam at the Faculty of Information Management
The defense of the diploma project is, in addition to passing the subjects and passing the examinations in accordance with the program of studies, the basis for the award of an engineering diploma.
