Recruitment for the winter semester of the 2024/2025 academic year began on May 6, 2024.


bachelor's degree (engineering) in the field of information management (full-time, Polish-language)

Admissions are held until the limit of places is reached.

Candidates for studies in information management who have passed the baccalaureate in mathematics or computer science or physics with astronomy at at least the elementary level are admitted to PJAIT on a first-come, first-served basis, after online registration and submission of a complete set of documents. Similarly, winners of the Information Technology, Mathematics and Physics Olympiads are also admitted.

1. Online registration

Create an account on the enrolment portal: rekrutacja.pjwstk.edu.pl 

You will receive an activation link, and after activating your account you will get access to your profile. Fill out the forms and obligatorily upload your photo (format: ID photo / passport photo). Be sure to select field of study, for which you are applying. 


2. Provision of documents

Prepare the required documents, save them in.pdf format, upload the relevant files to the recruitment portal or immediately deliver the originals to the Recruitment Department PJAIT. You can also send them by mail (registered mail) or courier.

Candidates who have a Polish baccalaureate (high school diploma) or IB (International Baccalaureate Diploma) diploma

Required Documents:

  1.  Application for admission to studies - the completed form can be downloaded from your profile in the recruitment portal ( after uploading a digital photo of proof format), or obtained directly from the Recruitment Department. Candidates who do not upload a photo according to the guidelines will not be able to download the application from the portal. Remember to sign the application!
  2. matriculation certificate - the candidate presents the original, a copy or a photocopy certified by a notary public

Candidates who hold a foreign diploma

Required Documents:

  1. Application for admission to study - you can download the completed form from your profile in the recruitment system or get it directly from the Recruitment Department. Remember to sign the application and upload a photo!
  2. photocopy of identity document (passport)
  3. High school diploma/certificate of completion (entitling to start studies) - the candidate presents the original or a photocopy certified by a Polish notary or a notary acting in one of the EU countries
  4. *translation of diploma - holders of diplomas issued in Polish, English and Ukrainian are exempt from the obligation to translate.
  5. *apostille/legalization of diploma - holders of diplomas issued by the following countries are exempt: European Union and EFTA countries, Australia, Canada, Ukraine, USA, UK, Belarus.
  6. ** eligibility statement - a document confirming that the diploma (from item No. 3) entitles the holder to start studies in the country where it was issued. It is recommended to have this document for holders of diplomas from outside countries: OECD, EU, Ukraine, Belarus, China.
  7. *** nostrification of diploma/certificate - to be provided by the end of the first semester of study in the PJAIT


Persons who have diplomas issued by EU, OECD, EFTA countries and countries with which Poland has concluded agreements on mutual recognition of education are exempt from the nostrification procedure. Nostrification of certificates is carried out at the Board of Education.

NOTE: Foreigners who wish to study Polish-language studies must have at least a Polish language proficiency certificate at the B1 level.

The certificate of proficiency in Polish should be sent by email to: rekrutacja@pja.edu.pl

In the absence of a certificate or if the level of the certificate is lower than B1, the candidate can take an online language interview via Google Meet. The cost of the language interview is 100 PLN.

Exemptions from the interview occur for:

  • Foreigners who have a secondary/secondary school graduation certificate in Poland or have a Polish high school diploma/diploma of completion of I/II degree in Polish; 
  • Holders of the Card of the Pole or the card of a long-term resident.

In order to sign up for a language interview, the candidate is required to select the appropriate date during online registration. Deadlines on the recruitment portal appear on a regular basis.

3. Studies qualification

Within two weeks of submitting the complete set of required documents (passing the language interview, if required), you will receive to your email address provided in the enrollment portal the Selection Committee's decision regarding your admission. 


4. Contract

A contract is a type of agreement that defines PJAIT 's obligations to you and yours to PJAIT.

The contract is emailed to the candidate along with the admission decision. Once completed and signed, it must be uploaded to your recruitment profile. The contract must be scanned legibly into a .pdf file, following the order of the pages.

We would like to inform you that it is possible to sign a contract directly with the Recruitment Department.

Candidates qualified for the study are required to sign a contract with the University within 2 weeks and pay the first installment of tuition fees.

Payments should be made to the individual account number available on the profile in the recruitment system.

Candidates from abroad who will need a certificate of commencement of studies in order to obtain/renew a visa, residence card are required to pay tuition fees for a minimum of one semester in advance.

If your studies are paid for by your employer, for example, you can sign a contract with a University-Sponsor-Student annex. At the time of signing the contract, please make this request.

Note: candidates signing a contract a week before the end of the recruitment period PJAIT does not guarantee the issuance of an ID card and the activation of an account on the University's server before the start of classes.


5. Certificate of admission

In order to obtain a "Certificate of enrollment of a foreigner" (a document necessary to legalize residence in Poland), it is necessary to pay tuition fees for a minimum of one semester. The certificate at the request of the candidate is sent to the e-mail in the form of a scan. Candidates who need an original certificate must send the request to rekrutacja@pja.edu.pl with the full postal address indicated.
