We are happy to announce that our Professor Dominika Wnuk will represent the Polish-Japanese Academy of Computer Science at the Women in Tech Summit 2024! Ms. Dominika will give a lecture titled "How to use LLMs and not be exploited, that is, conscious work with language models in the era of AI".
Why attend her Tech Talk? Dominika Wnuk is a lecturer in the Department of Data Science and Intelligent Systems at PJAIT, a linguist, programmer and polyglot. She is currently working on her PhD in natural language processing (NLP) and speech recognition (ASR). She graduated from PJAIT with a degree from computer science and from the University of Warsaw with a degree in Applied Linguistics. She specializes in natural language processing, language modeling, machine translation and discourse analysis. Her experience includes being an NLP engineer at a startup and a Python programmer in a research project. Her passion is linguistics and applications of generative AI.
The support of the female community in the world of technology is crucial. Diverse teams have been proven in research to increase innovation and productivity. An example of this is the work of Dr. Fei-Fei Li, a prominent scientist in the field of artificial intelligence, who not only makes great contributions to the development of technology, but also actively promotes women's participation in science and technology.
The Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology has been supporting an event organized by the Perspektywy Foundation that promotes women in technology. Join us for Women in Tech Summit 2024 to listen to inspiring speeches, such as Dominika Wnuk's lecture, and support women in the world of technology!
