Organization of Second Degree Studies

Second-cycle studies at graphic design combine in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge from both selected fields of the areas of artistic, humanistic and technical education with the application of computer techniques.

Second-degree graduates are better equipped to undertake creative activities and tasks. They are distinguished by their artistic consciousness and an attitude to the search for original solutions in broadly understood design activities, also when taking a leading role in the implementation of team tasks. They are also capable of independent professional-artistic work (independent business). They are prepared to plan their own careers independently, which is a result of their high specialized qualifications and intellectual qualities.

In part-time studies, classes are held in the mode of assemblies every other weekend: Saturdays-Sundays from 08:00-21:00. Each semester includes 8 assemblies. The academic year lasts from October to the end of June and is divided into two semesters. Studies are conducted in Polish.

Second Degree studies part-time last 4 semesters. Upon completion, graduates receive a Master of Arts degree.

The study program is divided into two stages. The first semester includes base teaching, in which students acquire general knowledge in fine arts and computer techniques. In the second semester, students choose a specialized area - a thesis studio, a thesis supervisor team, and deepen their knowledge of computer techniques and fine arts in accordance with their chosen area of specialization.
