The PiFF Pinerolo Film Festival is a film festival organized by the Italian cultural association Wel Theater and Movie aps. The event was created to promote independent cinema, with a particular focus on works related to the Piedmont region.
The festival showcases short films from Italy and abroad that are distinguished by their high artistic merit and address important social, humanistic, and cultural themes. The program places special emphasis on productions aimed at children, youth, and teenagers, as well as films that address issues relevant to contemporary society.
The festival program includes several thematic sections: a day dedicated to films for children and young people, including animated films, fantasy, feature films, and adventure films; a day devoted to social issues; a day showcasing short films produced in Piedmont; and a day dedicated to filmmakers affiliated withFEDIC, the Italian Federation of Film Clubs.
