During this year’s Night of Museums, the spaces of the Asia and Pacific Museum in Warsaw will be transformed into a vibrant aquatic world of Asia and Oceania. Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in a unique story about water—an element that has shaped beliefs, built identities, and inspired artists for centuries.

As part of the event, the Museum’s interiors will be filled with spectacular visual displays. Waves, reflections, and underwater landscapes will appear where they are not usually found, creating an extraordinary, multisensory space inspired by water and the cultures of Asia and Oceania.

Some of the visualizations were created by PJAIT students:

  • Umay Mulagzimoglu,
  • Eliz Kolat,
  • Elizaveta Romelashvili,
  • Patrycja Strus.

The work was carried out under the supervision of lecturer Sefa Sagir.

This is a unique example of a creative fusion of art, new technologies, and visual design. Our students’ participation in the project demonstrates how the skills developed atPJAIT be applied to cultural, artistic, and exhibition activities, as well as how they can actively shape visitors’ experiences within the museum space.

During Museum Night, visitors to the Museum of Asia and the Pacific will not only be able to view visualizations created in collaboration withPJAIT and others, but also take part in guided tours of the temporary exhibition “Faces of Water in the Cultures of Asia and Oceania.” Each guided tour will be a 30-minute journey into a different culture and an opportunity to explore the symbolism of water from various perspectives.

We warmly invite you to visit the Asia and Pacific Museum during Museum Night and see in person the extraordinary visualizations co-created by our students.

Congratulations to the authors and the project leader!
