YUGEN – Beauty from Within: a group exhibition featuring educators from PJAIT!

An international summer course on artificial intelligence and its impact on society will take place September 28–October 2, 2026, at HTW Berlin and online. This year’s edition focuses on the use of AI in urban mobility, public infrastructure, and digital public services.
The program’s industry partner is Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG)— Berlin’s public transportation operator. Students will work in international teams on a real-world AI application involving the analysis of historical construction plans and transportation infrastructure documentation. As part of the project, they will use technologies such as OCR, document layout analysis, and computer vision to develop and test a prototype AI-based solution.
The program also includes lectures and workshops with experts, topics related to ethics, transparency, and the responsible use of AI, as well as networking and the exchange of experiences with participants from other countries.
