On April 23, 2026, we invite you to the next meeting of the Polish-Japanese Academy of Computer Technology in the “Time for an Upgrade” series, titled “Let’s Talk About Animation.”

The upcoming event will focus on contemporary animation viewed from various perspectives: creative, production, and educational. This meeting is for everyone who wants to better understand what the animation industry looks like today, what skills open the door to it, and how to find their own path in this demanding but incredibly inspiring field.


During the webinar, we will discuss, among other things,

  • What are the career prospects after completing arts and technical studies in the field of animation?
  • what the reality of working in the modern film and animation industry is like,
  • how the process of producing and financing an animated film works—from concept to distribution,
  • what role film festivals play in promoting creative work and building international connections,
  • Why is a distinctive artistic language, experimentation, and creative consistency so important when working on one’s own projects?
  • how new technologies, including artificial intelligence, are shaping the future of animation and production processes.
