Two years later, in the summer of 2025, the second edition of the Business IT Training Skills program was held. The courses were organized simultaneously in Warsaw and Gdansk. Nearly 200 participants from Ukraine gained new competencies in Python programming, WordPress website development and Excel automation.
The ceremonial launch of the courses was supported by the Embassy of Japan in Poland, and the project gained additional significance from the involvement of Polish and international partners.
Cooperation with the Departments of computer science (Warsaw branch) and computer science (Gdansk branch) was exemplary. Thanks to adequate preparation and joint consultation of course syllabuses, our young teaching staff easily met the goals set beforehand. Each of the instructors was supported by an assistant to make up for missing elements and catch up on missed assignments. We would like to thank the Deans of both faculties for their commitment and delegation of staff.
Numerous institutions and companies supported PJAIT and JICA in the implementation of the project: Ukrainian House, Caritas Poland, the Labor Office of the City of Warsaw, Uniqlo, Fujitsu, Daiwa House, JETRO and Pasona.
All of these companies sent their representation and met the students on the last day of the project, during the Ceremony of the End of the Courses and presentation of certificates. Thanks to their cooperation, Career Fair was held at the end of the courses, during which participants were able to meet employers and receive practical guidance on careers in the IT industry.
The closing ceremony of the Business IT Training Skills project, led by Marta Myszewska - Manager of the PJAIT Promotion Office - was the culmination of an intensive, month-long learning cycle and an opportunity to sum up the supportive community we have built together.
