Curricula and syllabi
The curriculum implemented at the Faculty of New Media Arts provides students with thorough theoretical and practical knowledge in selected fields of computer technology applications, as well as the fundamentals of artistic education.
IT subjects include elements of fields such as the fundamentals of algorithms, computer operation, software engineering, multimedia, computer graphics and animation, and 3D modeling. Theoretical and practical knowledge is complemented by practical skills acquired in computer laboratories.
In the area of visual arts, great importance is attached to visual forms, which is why students study drawing, composition, painting, classical animation, photography, and cinematography. They familiarize themselves with the production of short film forms, particularly special effects created using 3D techniques and computer animation. The aim of artistic subjects is to develop the student's sensitivity to visual arts. This aspect is given special emphasis because the image is the most crucial element in both computer animation and computer games.
