Is artificial intelligence a threat to technology leaders or a tool that gives them a strategic advantage? How can you build your personal brand in a world of algorithms? Can intuition be trusted more than data?

We discussed this during another webinar in the "Time for an upgrade" series, this time with Paweł Tkaczyk – brand strategist, business practitioner, and lecturer in MBA studies for the IT industry at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology. The conversation was moderated by Marta Godzisz, Director Centre for Postgraduate Studies MBA for the IT industry atPJAIT.

Artificial intelligence, personal branding, storytelling, and leadership in IT

During the meeting, we discussed, among other things:

  • the analogy between the electrical revolution and the development of artificial intelligence,
  • the impact of AI on business models based on information processing,
  • the importance of the decision-making process in communication and negotiations,
  • the role of contact frequency in brand building,
  • the myth of authenticity in communication,
  • The future of storytelling in the era of generative AI.

Paweł Tkaczyk pointed out that artificial intelligence—like tractors in agriculture—does not necessarily take away jobs, but can free up space for strategic thinking. Soft skills are becoming crucial today: negotiation, understanding decision-making processes, conscious personal branding, and curiosity about other people.

As he emphasized, in a world where technology is taking over the creation and processing of information, real human interaction may become a luxury.
