Scrum in Practice: How Do Agile Teams Deliver IT Projects?
Julia Bochen, Oleksandr Zimenko, Mateusz Łaski represented PJAIT at the "Festival with the Palace in the Background" in Jabłonna over the weekend of September 23–24. Students from the Faculty of Computer Science showed interested visitors a robot that can play checkers, created by Michał Nowicki. PJAIT's presence at the festival was coordinated by Wojciech Sikora.

Is it possible to win a game of checkers against a robot?
The system presented at the festival controls a robotic manipulator which, using image processing from a camera, is able to play classical checkers as
one of the players. The game is played on a special board with pieces made using 3D printing technology.
