Challenge yourself to checkers with a robot - photo report from the science festival in Jablonna

Julia Bochen, Oleksandr Zimenko, Mateusz Łaski represented PJAIT at the "Festival with the Palace in the Background" in Yablonna over the weekend of September 23 and 24. Students from the Department of Computer Science showed interested parties a robot with which to play checkers by Michal Nowicki. The presence of PJAIT at the festival was coordinated by Wojciech Sikora.

Is it possible to win at checkers with a robot?
The system presented at the festival controls a robot manipulator, which, based on the processing of the camera image, is able to play classic checkers as
one of the players. The game takes place on a special board with pawns made using 3D printing technology.
