Engineering degree program

The curriculum of the engineering degree program covers issues in the effective use of information, material and financial resources available in the business environment of an enterprise. This is particularly served by subjects devoted to decision-making techniques, improvement of business processes in the enterprise, or innovative applications of information technology in management.

In full-time studies, classes are held Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Each semester includes 15 weeks of classes. The academic year lasts from October to the end of June and is divided into two semesters. Information management studies are conducted in Polish and English.

During the first four semesters, students acquire comprehensive knowledge of organization and management, economics, law, marketing, mathematics, statistics and the latest IT technologies. In the fifth semester of full-time study, students choose area a specialized field, and then begin diploma seminars. Within the framework of the selected scope, the student prepares a thesis on the practical problems of organization and management, and in particular the problems of information management in the enterprise.

Throughout the course of study, also in the field of information management, academy provides intensive study of English and, optionally, Japanese.


Rules of the diploma exam at the Faculty of Information Management

The defense of the diploma project is, in addition to passing the subjects and passing the examinations in accordance with the program of studies, the basis for the award of an engineering diploma.
