Kasia Mochi
She was born in Warsaw. Her passion and work are art, illustration, and writing. After completing her studies in Warsaw, she focused on fashion and drawing. She worked for the magazines "Pani" and "Twój Styl". She lived in Japan for many years. Her work has been shown in individual and group exhibitions, including Tokyo Designers Week, the Shibuya Art Awards exhibition at the Hikarie gallery in Tokyo, and the BDFIL Festival de Bande Dessinée in Lausanne. Twice, in 2015 and 2017, she was awarded an artistic residency in the A.I.R. Kamoe Art Center program in Hamamatsu. For two years, she ran art workshops at Shizuoka Daigaku Gakkuin University. She illustrates texts for the magazine "Pismo" and teaches Visual Journalism (publishing graphic design) at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw. In early 2020, her debut book for children (and partly for adults) entitled "Children from Hamamatsu" was published by Tatarak.
