The 11th edition of the Mayor of Warsaw Award

The competition is open to authors of master’s theses and doctoral dissertations that address the functioning, development, and challenges facing Warsaw.

The purpose of the Award is to recognize young researchers whose work can serve as inspiration for initiatives undertaken by the city. Entries may be submitted from various fields, including the social sciences, economics, environmental studies, engineering, and urban planning, provided that their subject matter is related to Warsaw.

Cash prizes await the winners:

• in the doctoral dissertation category – a grand prize of 15,000 PLN and three honorable mentions of 6,000 PLN each,
• in the master’s thesis category – a grand prize of 7,000 PLN and three honorable mentions of 3,000 PLN each.
