Modern Kintsugi Workshop for Members of the PJAIT Alumni Club

Starting March 27, 2026, the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology will host the exhibition "From Museum to Theater." The opening reception will take place at 12:00 p.m. in the lobby of Building A.
The exhibition showcases the results of an interdisciplinary educational project involving, among others, faculty members and students PJAIT. Its aim was to offer a fresh perspective on European cultural heritage related to masks through the use of new technologies and creative interpretation.
The project involved students and faculty members from the fields of architecture, graphic design, and interior design, who collaborated with experts in ethnography, archaeology, anthropology, philology, history, and the performing arts.
The exhibition features selected projects dedicated to the public presentation of ancient Greek masks, as well as Portuguese and Polish folk masks, showcased through innovative technological applications. The exhibition also highlights the results of the entire creative process.
"From Museum to Theater" is an educational project carried out by four European universities—Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria, the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology, ESAD – College of Art and Design, and Democritus University of Thrace — in which over 100 students and faculty members collaborated on a digital reinterpretation of masks from three cultural traditions: Lipari — ancient theater, Krakow — folk heritage, and Portugal — folk tradition.
