1. What influenced you to pursue an MBA at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology?

First of all, I worked in IT and wanted to develop in this direction from a managerial angle, to acquire more competencies. When I started my MBA for the IT industry at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology, I started from the position of Team Leader and wanted to advance to management positions in the future. However, the second motivation was the fact that the Polish-Japanese Academy of Computer Technology is a University with an IT profile, so it would not be just business studies in general terms only profiled in the IT area.

2. How do you recall your time at MBA 4 IT at PJAIT? What was the most significant thing for you during the studies themselves?

Some of the classes at the MBA program at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology were particularly valuable to me. Thanks to the classes with Katarzyna Olszynska, during which we discussed soft skills, I understood the huge role played by the nuances of communication, which we don't think about for quite a long time in our daily work with the team - it's easy to demand, creating a really good, relaxed atmosphere, full of work culture relies on constant work in this direction - this really helped me a lot.

3. What areas from the curriculum covered during the MBA program were most relevant and useful to you in your professional life?

As I already mentioned, certainly Business Psychology - classes with Katarzyna Olszynska, the knowledge I gained from these lectures I implemented directly into my activities. I think it is also worth mentioning here: Gamification with Paweł Tkaczyk, or Public Speaking with Krzysztof Górlicki. I would also add Cyber Security here, led by Kamil Wisniewski, engaged the group in a very interesting way. Meetings with these Lecturers, were really valuable and gave a huge boost of knowledge. They are very interesting, magnetic people who inspire with their commitment.

4 What values, beyond the curriculum itself, were most important to you during the MBA itself?

I think that the great strength of the MBA for the IT industry at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology is the meetings with charismatic people who inspire you to act, explore knowledge and use it at work.

5. What tips could you give to potential MBA candidates?

I would tell them not to wait too long with their decision! I was told to get more experience in a leadership position before going for an MBA, because only then will this form of educational process be profitable for me. I believe that if someone has the potential to be a leader, holds a leadership position, or manages his own business, then the earlier the better, the habits in professional activities are not yet manicured enough.
