The International Congress on Fine Arts, Print and Sustainability (IFPSC 2025), organized by Istanbul Cerrahpaş University, is an international event that serves as a platform for the interdisciplinary exchange of knowledge, experience and practices in the fields of art, design, print technology and sustainability.

Held on May 29-30, 2025 at the Avcılar Campus, the congress followed previous editions in Dubai (2023) and Barcelona (2024), reflecting its growing prestige and role as a global forum for the exchange of ideas. The event's program included a wide area activities, from paper sessions led by experts from different regions, to interdisciplinary art exhibitions and practical workshops aimed at deepening participants' competence in modern technologies and sustainable production methods.

The topics of the papers focused on key issues such as transformations in creative processes, visual semiotics, the role of art in urban and economic development, as well as innovative techniques in the context of sustainable development. In particular, the importance of artificial intelligence as a tool to foster creativity and automate design processes was highlighted, prompting a wide-ranging discussion on ethics and education in the context of modern design.

A panel discussion on the integration of artificial intelligence in education and design practices sparked lively debates on the need to revise curricula to address dynamic technological changes and ethical challenges.

As part of the congress, exhibitions were held, including an international exhibition of posters and photographs whose works reflected the themes of "Istanbul" and "Freedom," presenting interdisciplinary perspectives on these issues. It is noteworthy that selected works from this exhibition received an international audience and were displayed in Times Square in New York, thereby raising the event's profile on a global level.

Participants also had the opportunity to take part in hands-on workshops that included printing techniques, visual narrative, as well as digital tools based on artificial intelligence, which allowed them to develop competence in modern creative methods and sustainable design practices.

The International Congress of Fine Arts, Printing and Sustainability (IFPSC 2025), is not only a platform for the exchange of knowledge, but also as an impetus for the development of science and practice in the field of art and technology, promoting the values of sustainability, creativity and innovation.
