On Friday, October 2, we gathered for the ceremonial opening of the new academic year. We gave a particularly warm welcome to our first-year students and to those who came toPJAIT from abroad. This year, we have over 8,000 students, including more than 2,000 from 63 countries around the world!

During the inauguration, we highlighted the three pillars on which we have been building PJAIT from the very beginning: training specialists, advancing scientific research , andbuilding a bridge between Poland and Japan. We also discussed new degree programs and specializations, international projects, and how the rapid development of artificial intelligence is transforming education and the future of the job market.

One of the most important messages we conveyed to our computer science students is this: in the world of AI, it’s not enough to learn how to use a single tool or practice a single profession. Curiosity, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to keep learning will be key.

“You’re not learning how to navigate the world that already exists. You’re learning how to build the next one.”

And it is with this mindset that we are beginning the 2026–2027 academic year.

Welcome to PJAIT! We wish you a wonderful year full of new challenges, inspiring encounters, and reasons to be proud.
