PJAIT will PJAIT participate in Women in Tech!

With a triple blow of the scepter, Rector PJAIT, Jerzy Pawel Nowacki, PhD, began another academic year, the thirtieth in the history of the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology. In front of the entire community of the academy are intensive months dedicated to gaining knowledge, succeeding and pursuing seemingly impossible goals.
On October 4, 2023, we gathered for the unique inauguration of the 2023/2024 academic year. Distinguished guests enriched the ceremony with their presence:
- Ambassador of Japan to Poland, Mr. Miyajima Akio,
- Deputy Mayor of the City of Warsaw, Ms. Renata Kaznowska,
- rectors and vice-rectors of friendly universities,
- directors and vice-rectors of scientific institutions and museums, presidents of companies, representatives of flagship partners PJAIT - Orange and WP,
as well as friends of the academy, continuously supporting its activities since its inception.
In his solemn speech, Rector PJAIT, Dr. Jerzy Pawel Nowacki emphasized the university's mission pursued since its founding, and congratulated the students and teaching staff on their high achievements.
Ambassador of Japan to Poland, Mr. Miyajima Akio recalled important moments in the history of Polish-Japanese relations, and Deputy Mayor of Warsaw Ms. Renata Kaznowska conveyed the words of Warsaw Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski and wished students to find lifelong friendship at university. Representatives of students and doctoral students also spoke, addressing their comrades from the university corridors and lecture halls.
However, this event could not have taken place without the students, beginning their educational journey within the walls of the Polish-Japanese Academy, who were also with us online. Those present at the ceremony proudly took the oath, symbolizing their acceptance into the community of our university. We wish them that their studies will be an unforgettable moment in their lives.
The SGGW Choir, under the direction of Dr. Pawel Choina, enriched the ceremony with its singing.
