We are proud that once again the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology has been nominated as a student-friendly educational institution for the 2023 Educational Plebiscite award in the Academy of the Year category.

In this year's edition, lecturers from the Faculty of Computer Science at PJAIT — Ms. Barbara Karpowicz and Mr. Sławomir Dańczak — have also been nominated for the plebiscite in the Academic Teacher category as the most dedicated, valued, and beloved academic teachers.

The choice of the plebiscite winners is in your hands. We warmly encourage you to vote for the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology, for Ms. Barbara Karpowicz, and for Mr. Sławomir Dańczak.*

*Please note that voting in the plebiscite is a paid service.

The Educational Plebiscite is the largest plebiscite of its kind in Poland. In the Masovian Voivodeship, it is organized by "Polska Metropolia Warszawska", "Echo Dnia", and "Tygodnik Ostrołęcki". The best institutions are first selected at the city and county levels, and later at the voivodeship level. Those that receive the most votes will receive their main awards during a gala ceremony at the Royal Castle in Warsaw.

In last year's edition of the plebiscite, PJAIT lecturer dr hab. Ewa Turska was nominated, and she told us about the queen of sciences – mathematics – in two episodes of our podcast “Na początek…”.

Episode 3 – Five ways to learn mathematics.
Episode 4 – Mathematics is beautiful!
