Free workshops for high school students atPJAIT

Would you like to see what real business decision-making looks like and how artificial intelligence helps in this process?
Join us for a full-day workshop at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology, where you will take part in a dynamic company management simulation.

This is a great opportunity to experiencefirsthand what modern management in the IT world is all about and what it's like to work in a team on a real business problem.

Who will lead the workshops?

The classes will be conducted by lecturers from the Faculty of Information Management at PJAIT:

 Rafał Muniak, M.Sc. – Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Information Management
Mateusz Kowalik, M.Sc. – Lecturer at the Department of Economics and Management


For whom?

The workshops are aimed athigh school students who are thinking about their future in areas such as:

  • business and entrepreneurship (future managers, business owners),
  • marketing and communication,
  • data analysis and working with information,
  • modern technologies and AI in business,
  • project management and strategy.

If you want to see how decisions are made in a company and how AI supports the work of business teams, then this workshop is for you.

Why should you come? What will you gain from it?

During the workshops:

  • you will see how decisions are made in the company and how they affect financial results,
  • you will learn to analyze data and plan market strategy,
  • you will see how to use free AI tools (e.g., Gemini) in your work as a manager,
  • you will develop teamwork, logical thinking, and planning skills,
  • you will find out if IT management studies are right for you.

This will not be a lecture, buta practical strategy game in which reflexes, cooperation, and ideas count.

What will the workshops look like?

The workshops are based on the "FINANSE" business simulation, in which participants take on the roles of decision-makers managing companies competing with each other on the market.

The work is carried out in teams, and the decisions made have a direct impact on the companies' results.

During the workshop, participants will deal with, among other things:

  • making financial and logistical decisions (investments, loans, employment, costs),
  • market strategy planning, participation in tenders, purchasing, and warehousing,
  • analysis of the company's results (profit and loss account, company valuation),
  • the use of AI tools in data analysis, marketing planning, and company image building.
