Are you interested in artistic studies at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw? To study graphic design, multimedia art, and interior design, the admission process requires presenting a portfolio and attending an interview. Not sure what your portfolio should look like? Below you will find all the information on what it should include. And this Saturday, April 20, you will have a unique opportunity to present your previous work and consult it with PJAIT lecturers.

It is worth taking advantage of this unique opportunity! April 20, 2024, 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM – consultations in Polish for candidates for PART-TIME STUDIES during Open Days, Building C, Room C06 (graphic design/interior design – find out more about these fields of study now!).

What should a portfolio for artistic studies at PJAIT look like?

Graphic design (studies in Polish)

drawing
  1. drawing of the human figure from life – minimum format 50×70 and 70×50, minimum 5 drawings
  2. still life – minimum format 50×70 and 70×50, minimum 5 drawings
  3. other forms of drawings (any number of works).
painting
  1. landscapepainting created using any technique on paper or cardboard (minimum format 50×70 and 70×50; minimum 5 paintings)
  2. still life – painting created using any technique on paper or cardboard (minimum format 50×70 and 70×50; minimum 5 paintings)
  3. other painting forms (any number of works)
photography
  1. color or black and white – portrait photography, landscape, any composition, or reportage can be presented. Photography can be submitted in the form of prints (minimum 10 pieces in A5 format or larger) or presented on a laptop / tablet in digital format.

Interior design (studies in Polish)

painting

minimum 10 pieces, format 50x70cm or 70x100cm

Painting works presented in the portfolio should be made from life and include: figure study, still life, landscape, interior.

drawing

minimum 10 pieces, format 50x70cm or 70x100cm

Drawing works presented in the portfolio should be made from life and include: figure study, still life, landscape, interior.

sketches

perspective drawing, minimum 10 pieces, format A4.
