After this weekend's #Supervision_Hack, we couldn't get better news! The Data Science Club PJAIT team consisting of:
- Jacek Jackowski (DSC chairman PJAIT),
- Adrian Kordas and Filip Dzięcioł (DSC vice-chairmen PJAIT)
and Milena Kustroń and Jakub Melzacki (DSC members PJAIT) won second place in the hackathon organized by the Financial Supervision Commission .

Our students faced the task "SFCRacker - Report on solvency and financial condition of insurance institutions, i.e. detecting incorrect and inconsistent information in reports of insurance institutions". Their solution was an application that allowed them to check and edit information about institutions, upload and download files (webscrapper), and analyze the final data.

The competition was evenly matched. The PJAIT team came up against worthy opponents, which only motivated them to be even more creative and come up with an even better solution. In the end, the difference between first and second place was small.
We are proud to have such talented students studying at our academy!

We are keeping our fingers crossed for their future successes, and our Data Science Club is not idle and invites you to the conference "Your Date with Data Science" on December 3.
