Invitation to the event: "Between data protection and privacy" - an overview of cyber security challenges

Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology is launching a modern, interdisciplinary field of study undergraduate program: Cognitive science - technology, communication, design. This is in response to the dynamic changes taking place in the digital world and the growing market demand for specialists with a broad spectrum of competencies.
Cognitive science at PJAIT combines the best of our university's experience in computer techniques, methods and tools with a broad cognitive context and practical applications of technology in a creative context, which is one of the pillars of our university.
Studies in Cognitive Science are conducted on a full-time basis, in Polish and last three years (6 semesters).
The prepared program is innovative in form and content. The layout of the subjects has an innovativebottom-up approach, aiming to immerse students from the very start in new technologies, tools and field contexts, so as to gradually encourage them to explore further in the course of further study.
The interdisciplinary program brings together diverse perspectives and provides a broad context within several thematically intertwined contextual tracks consisting of subjects structured in modular form, developed over several semesters:
in a technological context, including information theory, behavioral economics, psychometrics, neuroscience, based on technological tools and developments (cognitive context).
enabling deep immersion in the latest capabilities related to artificial intelligence and data processing, building a step-by-step toolkit and understanding of the technical context through a modular approach.
allow to embed the acquired knowledge in the broader context of the socio-cultural environment of modern technology applications.
Targets the processes of creating and prototyping new technological solutions in the broad context of the opportunities and demands of a modern knowledge-based and digital economy (socio-economic context).
provides comprehensive tools for effective design and development of technology solutions based on modern software and market trends (creative context).
provides opportunities for direct interaction and learning about hardware and software solutions that are the foundation of the modern knowledge economy (hardware, cloud, Internet of Things and security technologies).
The study prepares you to work as a product owner, product manager, brand manager, communication manager, account manager, digital content creator, among others - both in startups and large technology organizations. However, these are just a few examples from the wide range of creative positions in the application of new technologies in a market context that graduates of this course can take!
