Enrollment for the winter semester of the 2026–2027 academic year has begun and will continue through the end of September 2026.


Part-time Polish-language master's degree 4-semester

Candidates choose a graduate silhouette (specialized area) when applying to full-time and the first semester is implemented according to the chosen path.

Classes for part-time studies take place on Saturdays and Sundays every two weeks.


Requirements for applicants

Candidates should be graduates of Bachelor's or master's degree programs in computer science or related fields, economics, technical sciences, exact sciences, or graduates of other fields, provided that during their studies or in connection with their professional work they have acquired the necessary foundations in computer science. Additionally, the following was required:

-Basic knowledge of: relational database theory, statistical methods, programming basics, operating system usage, computer network basics;

-Knowledge of Polish/English at least at the B2 level.

When choosing a silhouette Data Science the candidate is also expected to have basic knowledge of: basic Python programming, use of UNIX operating systems.

Admissions process for studies at PJAIT


1. Online registration

Create an account on the enrolment portal: rekrutacja.pjwstk.edu.pl

You will receive an activation link, and once your account is activated, you will gain access to your profile. Fill out the forms and obligatorily upload your current ID or passport photo. Be sure to select field of study for which you are applying.


2. Provision of documents

Prepare the required documents, save them in.pdf format, upload the relevant files to the recruitment system. The documents listed below are the necessary minimum required by the University in order to proceed with the selection procedure for the Master's degree program. Original documents can be submitted after receiving the admission decision, in person, or sent by mail / courier to the address of the University.

Graduates of other universities submit:

1. application for admission to studies - the completed form can be downloaded from your profile in the recruitment system (after uploading a digital proof photo). Candidates who do not upload a photo will not be able to download the application. Applications with an inadequate photo will not be accepted. Remember to sign your application!

2. the diploma of graduation with a supplement - the candidate presents the original, a copy or a photocopy certified by a notary public (for those who have not yet taken the defense of the diploma thesis or are waiting to receive the diploma, please provide a certificate from the dean's office regarding the defense / date of defense and the course sheet). If you have a diploma obtained outside Poland, the candidate is also required to provide a translation of the diploma and apostille / legalization*.

OPTIONAL

Resume, certificates, certificate of completed courses only if you have a first degree in non-technical fields (possible confirmation of work experience if the job is related to IT). 


Foreigners

Foreigners who do not have a Polish university diploma must, in addition to the documents in points 1-4 above, additionally provide:

- Certificate of proficiency in Polish at a minimum of B2 - check;

- Diploma translation - holders of diplomas issued in Polish, English or bilingual diplomas, when one of the languages is English, are exempt from the translation requirement;

- Apostille/legalization of the diploma - holders of diplomas issued by the following countries are exempt from the obligation: countries of the European Union and EFTA, Australia, Belarus, Canada, Ukraine, USA, UK;

- *Writtendecision of the NAWA Director confirming eligibility to apply for admission to a master's degree - applies to holders of certificates issued outside the EU, EFTA, OECD, Ukraine and China.

- passport scan.

*As of July 1, 2025, foreign diplomas must be recognized by the Director of NAWA as entitling the student to begin second-level studies in Poland. This does not apply to certificates issued by countries of the European Union, EFTA, OECD, Ukraine and China.

3. Admission procedure

Admission to studies is based on the qualification procedure.

The qualification committee evaluates the candidate's current education based on the submitted documents and qualifies them for the appropriate form of study.

In the case of candidates from outside PJAIT who have curricular differences, it may be necessary to make up for additional subjects from the Bachelor's degree area. The decision is made by the Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science.

Payment for the qualification procedure should be made to your individual account - visible in your own recruitment profile (after logging in to the recruitment portal: rekrutacja.pjwstk.edu.pl).

Graduates of the Faculties of Computer Science and Information Management at PJAIT are exempt from the qualification procedure. The qualification procedure is subject to a fee – 85 PLN.


4. Studies qualification

The college qualification decision is issued after passing the qualification procedure, providing a set of documents. Information about the possibility of downloading the decision is sent to the e-mail given at registration

Decisions on the qualification of PJAIT Graduates are issued on an ongoing basis.


5. Contract, fee, and submission of original documents

A contract is made available along with the qualification decision. Both documents are downloadable from the recruitment profile. Candidates qualified for the study are required within 2 weeks:

1. pay the first installment of tuition

2. sign a contract with the University

3. provide the original diploma with a supplement ( if applicable, the Candidate shall additionally submit an apostille / legalization ).

The contract is a type of agreement outlining PJAIT's commitments to you and yours to PJAIT.

- The completed and signed contract is uploaded by the candidate to his profile on the recruitment portal. The contract must be scanned legibly into a pdf file. With the order of the pages preserved.

- Payments should be made to the individual account number available on the profile

- The candidate provides the original diploma, supplement, its copy or a photocopy certified by a notary public. Documents can be sent by mail, courier, or can be delivered by a "third party" such as a parent.

If your studies are paid for by your employer, for example, you can sign a contract with a University-Sponsor-Student annex.

Note: For candidates signing the contract one week before the end of the PJAIT admissions period, the University does not guarantee the issuance of a student ID card and the activation of the account on the University server before classes begin.
