The area of project management focuses on issues of combining IT with management and business aspects, on organizational issues in IT projects, and on IT applications in which the key problem is the analysis of the problem domain. Graduates of this area can be valued specialists in the following areas, among others:

• Leading design, programming and implementation teams,
• leadership positions in project and process organizations,
• Any projects (IT software and infrastructure projects),
• Consulting companies, banks, software development departments, IT infrastructure maintenance, etc.

In addition to the issues of implementing IT projects, this area also addresses the support of any projects by solutions using IT, as well as IT applications in management and the economic and management dimensions of IT projects.

Elective subjects required or recommended for a scope in the area of project management

- Project management (required, unless similar topics were pursued as part of a completed first degree)
- Advanced modeling and analysis of information systems (recommended)

• The scalability of agile methodologies,
• Blockchain technology-based project financing methods,
• Service lifecycle in the context of ITIL.
