Tailored curriculum

The curriculum is aligned with the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), which allows students to accumulate and transfer credits across different academies. It is also systematically adapted to current trends, technologies, and market requirements. In each semester, students complete a pool of mandatory subjects, elective lectures, and specialization subjects. Thanks to these solutions, students can influence their schedule. All classes concluded with a passed exam and credit provide the student with credit points (ECTS). Students may choose elective classes exclusively within their specialized area. The topics of master's theses are tailored to the student's interests.

The study of online studies is as follows:

  • Online learning through the university's Edux system throughout the semester.
  • Examination session plus possibly a laboratory session at the end of the semester at the university.

Educational materials are provided in the Edux academy system. Every week, students independently work through a given topic and complete homework assignments and tests. There is no requirement to log into the Edux system at a specific time. Neither joint lectures nor tutorials are organized online. The educational materials are in HTML format with added multimedia elements.

Contact with instructors is in the form of weekly, optional consultations on the Microsoft Teams platform and also by email.

Studies begin with remote training on how to use the Edux platform.

Examination sessions (exams, credits) and laboratory sessions (intensive study of one subject) are held in a standard manner at the university at the end of each semester. An exam session usually lasts 4 days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday), while a laboratory session lasts 4-5 days (weekdays and possibly a weekend). The two sessions, the main or revision exam session and the laboratory session, are combined, so you only need to come to Warsaw a maximum of two times per semester, for about 9 days each time.

Subjects that are carried out at the academy as part of the laboratory session:

1.Creating IT start-ups TSI.
2.Advanced modeling and analysis of information systems ZMA/ Linguistic engineering INL (one subject to choose from depending on specialty area).
3.Business process modeling and management MZP/Data integration and data warehousing IDH (one subject to choose from depending on specialty area).
