At the end of December 2023, Dr. Radoslaw Nielek, Eng. was appointed by the Minister of Digitization as director of the Scientific and Academic Computer Network - National Research Institute (NASK-BIP).
Dr. Radoslaw Nielek, Eng. is a graduate of the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology and a professor in the Department of Computer Networks and Distributed Systems PJAIT. In addition, he has held research internships at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and Technische Universitaet Berlin.
What's more, Dr. Ing. Radoslaw Nielek is the author of about 100 articles on such topics as artificial intelligence, machine learning and cyber security published in prestigious international journals and conference proceedings.
NASK was established in 1992 at the University of Warsaw as a coordination team for the development of academic computer networks The team played an important role in connecting Poland to the Internet. Since 1993, NASK has operated as a research and development unit conducting scientific research in telecommunications, data communications and ICT services, and is also a telecommunications operator offering broadband Internet access and classical telephony.
