The project "PANOPTICON. COME CLOSER" at the ELIA Biennale in Milan

COME CLOSER has been accepted by the Jury for the ELIA Conference and will be presented at the ELIA Biennale in Milan. Out of 213 submissions received, the Jury selected 79 proposals from 25 different countries. The project "Panopticon. Come Closer" was carried out with students of NeMA as part of Dr. Anna Klimczak's class and was shown last year as an exhibition at "Kyubu". Documentation of the exhibition was presented at the final year exhibition NeMA.
Monumental sculpture by Anna Barlik – PJAIT lecturer at the "datament" exhibition at the "Zachęta" National Gallery of Art

The exhibition tells the story of data overproduction and our relationship with it. As part of the exhibition, a monumental sculpture by Anna Barlik is shown, created using a data parameterization algorithm concerning architecture. Anna Barlik is a lecturer at the Faculty of New Media Arts of PJAIT.

Interactive Week 2024 at PJAIT

The collaboration, initiated a few years ago with the aim of integrating the theatre, multimedia design, and graphic design communities, was interrupted by the pandemic. However, despite isolation and restrictions, students at PJAIT and the Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art established a cooperation that resulted in multimedia set design projects for several diploma performances.
