The project "PANOPTICON. COME CLOSER" at the ELIA Biennale in Milan

COME CLOSER has been accepted by the Jury for the ELIA Conference and will be presented at the ELIA Biennale in Milan. Out of 213 submissions received, the Jury selected 79 proposals from 25 different countries. The project "Panopticon. Come Closer" was carried out with students of NeMA as part of Dr. Anna Klimczak's class and was shown last year as an exhibition at "Kyubu". Documentation of the exhibition was presented at the final year exhibition NeMA.

The exhibition tells the story of data overproduction and our relationship with it. As part of the exhibition, a monumental sculpture by Anna Barlik is shown, created using a data parameterization algorithm concerning architecture. Anna Barlik is a lecturer at the Faculty of New Media Arts of PJAIT.
