Enrollment for the summer semester of the 2026–2027 academic year will begin in December 2026.


master's degree, full-time, Polish-language studies

Admissions are based on an interview and a submitted portfolio.


Requirements for candidates

Candidates must hold a bachelor's or engineering degree. A degree in art is not required. 

Recruitment is based on a portfolio and an interview. The portfolio should present the candidate's design achievements, including their thesis and selected projects: architectural concepts, interior designs, technical drawings, and presentation materials. Photographs documenting observation skills and work with space are also welcome. Candidates are expected to be proficient in the use of basic tools for creating multimedia presentations and 3D visualization software, which will facilitate the completion of design tasks at the master's degree level.


Admissions process for studies at PJAIT


1.Online registration

Create an account on the enrolment portal: rekrutacja.pjwstk.edu.pl 

You will receive an activation link, and after activating your account you will get access to your profile. Fill out the forms and obligatorily upload your photo. Be sure to select field of study, for which you are applying. 


2.Provision of documents

Prepare the required documents, save them in .pdf format, upload the relevant files to the recruitment system or immediately deliver the originals to the Admission Office PJAIT. You can also send them by mail (registered mail) or courier. You can bring the remaining documents after the interview.

PJAIT graduates PJAIT in interior design :

-applicationfor admission to graduate studies

-digital photo of proof format uploaded to your profile in the online recruitment system for your student ID and application

–recruitment procedurereport (available for download from the recruitment portal) – required before the interview. The report must include the following information:

–course selection survey ( available for download from the recruitment portal)


PJAIT graduates PJAIT outside of interior design) submit:

-applicationfor admission to graduate studies

-digital photo of proof format uploaded to your profile in the online recruitment system for your student ID and application

-the protocol of the qualification procedure (downloadable from the recruitment portal) - required before the interview. In the protocol it is mandatory to indicate:

–course selection survey ( available for download from the recruitment portal)


Graduates of other universities submit:

-applicationfor admission to graduate studies

-digital photo of proof format uploaded to your profile in the online recruitment system for your student ID and application

-document ofpayment for the interview (cost 150 PLN) - required before the interview

-diplomaof graduation with a supplement - the candidate presents the original or a copy, and the employee of PJAIT certifies the photocopy as a true copy of the original (for those who have not yet taken the defense of the diploma thesis or are waiting to receive the diploma, please provide a certificate from the Student's office regarding the defense/defense date and the course sheet; if the candidate has a diploma obtained outside Poland, the candidate is also required to provide a translation of the diploma)

Foreigners

Foreigners who do not have a Polish university diploma must, in addition to the documents from the points listed above, additionally provide:

- Certificate of proficiency in Polish at a minimum of B2 - check;

- Diploma translation - holders of diplomas issued in Polish, English or bilingual diplomas, when one of the languages is English, are exempt from the translation requirement;

- Apostille/legalization of the diploma - holders of diplomas issued by the following countries are exempt from the obligation: countries of the European Union and EFTA, Australia, Belarus, Canada, Ukraine, USA, UK;

- *Writtendecision of the NAWA Director confirming eligibility to apply for admission to a master's degree - applies to holders of certificates issued outside the EU, EFTA, OECD, Ukraine and China.

- passport scan.

*As of July 1, 2025, foreign diplomas must be recognized by the Director of NAWA as entitling the student to begin second-level studies in Poland. This does not apply to certificates issued by countries of the European Union, EFTA, OECD, Ukraine and China.

3.Interviews

Interviews for studies are held in the form of stationary in the premises of the University, online interviews are only for Foreigners who are not in Poland.

In order to sign up for an interview, the candidate is required to select the appropriate date in the recruitment portal and pay for the interview in the amount of PLN 150.

The candidate must sign up for an interview (through the enrolment portal).

NOTE: Foreigners who wish to study at a Polish-language college must know Polish at a minimum B2 level. An interview verifies language proficiency.


Graduates of interior design

Graduates of interior design PJAIT who received a grade of 4 or 5 on their diploma submit a report in which:

  • there must be an opinion of the supervisor of the undergraduate studies concerning the qualification for the second-degree program


Graduates with a score lower than 4 on their diploma must additionally take an interview and give a presentation supported by visual materials (artwork, sketches, collages, etc.) matching the proposed project.


Note: In justified cases, the Selection Committee may ask a graduate to take part in an interview - applies, for example, to the situation of changing the mode of study between the first degree (part-time mode) and second degree (full-time mode).


Graduates of other universities

Admissions are based on a portfolio assessment and an interview.

Candidates are expected to be proficient in the use of basic tools for creating multimedia presentations and 3D visualization software, which will facilitate the completion of project tasks at the master's degree level.


The results of the interviews will be sent to your email within 1 business day after the interview.

We would like to remind you that the decision on qualification for studies is made only after meeting all formal requirements, i.e.: completing online registration, providing a set of required documents and successfully passing the interview.

Once all the conditions described above have been fulfilled, academy has two weeks to send a decision on eligibility for the study.



4.Qualification for studies

The college qualification decision is sent after the student passes the interview and the group gathers. 


5. Contract, fee, and submission of original documents

A contract is made available along with the qualification decision. Both documents are downloadable from the recruitment profile.

Candidates qualified for the study are required within 2 weeks: 

1. pay the first installment of tuition fees. Payments should be made to the individual account number available on the profile in the recruitment system.

2. sign a contract with the University. A contract is a type of agreement that specifies PJAIT 's obligations to you and yours to PJAIT. Once completed and signed, it must be uploaded to your enrollment profile. The contract must be scanned legibly into a .pdf file, keeping the pages in order.

3. provide the original diploma with a supplement ( if applicable, the Candidate shall additionally submit an apostille / legalization ). The Candidate provides the original diploma, supplement, its copy or a photocopy certified by a notary public. Documents can be sent by mail, courier, or can be delivered by a "third party" such as a parent.


Candidates from abroad who will need a certificate of commencement of studies in order to obtain/renew a visa, residence card are required to pay tuition fees for a minimum of one semester in advance.

If your studies are paid for by your employer, for example, you can sign a contract with a University-Sponsor-Student annex. At the time of signing the contract, please make this request.

Note: candidates signing a contract a week before the end of the recruitment period PJAIT does not guarantee the issuance of an ID card and the activation of an account on the University's server before the start of classes.


5. Certificate of admission

In order to obtain a "Certificate of admission of a foreigner to study" (a document necessary to legalize the stay in Poland) it is necessary to pay tuition fees for a minimum of one semester. The certificate at the request of the candidate is sent to the e-mail in the form of a scan. Candidates who need an original certificate must send the request to rekrutacja@pja.edu.pl with the full postal address indicated.
