The Agile Orange conference, organized in cooperation with Orange Poland, took place within the walls of the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology. The event brought together experts, business leaders and enthusiasts of agile management methods, creating a space to exchange experiences and talk about the future of work.

The conference was opened by Ms. Marta Godzisz, director of the Center for Education and MBA at PJAIT, welcoming the participants and emphasizing the importance of such meetings for the integration of the academic community with business practice. We are pleased that Orange Poland and PJAIT , thanks to the partnership developed, are working for the second year in the field of further education of managers throughout Poland. We thank the organizers for another year of such a great initiative!


Keynote speaker
Zofia Dzik

Special guest and keynote speaker of the event was Zofia Dzik - innovator, strategic thinker, long-time C-level manager and president of the Humanites Institute - Man and Technology. Her speech was devoted to new trends in management and the challenges of retaining talent - a resource crucial to the development of any organization.

The central concept of the lecture was the Greek word Kairos, meaning "right moment." Sophie Dzik stressed that the ability to recognize such moments in the work of a leader and an organization is becoming crucial in a world full of change and uncertainty.

Zofia Dzik is a pioneer of the fintech market in Central and Eastern Europe, an experienced member of the supervisory boards of major listed companies, founder of the Humanites Institute and author of leadership development and social capital models. She is one of the most influential Polish women leaders, recognized by Forbes and the President of Poland, among others.


Other speakers

The conference also featured other experts who brought interesting perspectives on leadership, collaboration and innovation. Those who shared their thoughts included:

  • Tomasz Manugiewicz - lecture entitled. "The Board of Directors as a startup team - how to bring creativity into boardrooms and build a true partnership with the CEO."
  • Igor Mroz - presentation "Silos, chaos and mothering, or what bites leaders", in which he presented the results of a study about the problems of managers at different levels of the organization.
  • Adam Myszak - topic: "Good cooperation is first a good strategy, or how to focus the entire organization around one strategy."

Summary

Agile Orange at PJAIT is an event that combines theory with practice, academia with business, and different perspectives on leadership and organizational transformation. The meeting with Sophia Dzik showed that management is not only about process efficiency, but also about people, their development and the right moment - Kairos.
