The Center for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle and the Akt Theater are organizing the 27th edition of the ROZDROŻE 2023 International Festival of Performing Arts.
On October 5 (Thursday) at 18:00 there will be a lecture by Tokyo-based curator and art critic Yukiko Shikata on the work of Shiro Takatani and the Kyoto-based group Dumb Type, which may be of particular interest to students of the Department of New Media Art and the Department of Japanese Culture PJAIT.
"In her lecture, Yukiko Shikata will present the work of Shiro Takatani, focusing on the artist's performance works, especially the differences between his work in the Dumb Type group and his solo work. Following the speaker's introduction, the film Shiro Takatani - between nature and technology will be screened."
Admission to the lecture and film screening is free.
