In 2024, the Polish zloty will celebrate its 100th anniversary!

To mark the occasion, Prof. Witold Orlowski - a respected economist, chief economic advisor to PwC Poland and lecturer of MBA programs for the IT industry at PJAIT - gave an exclusive interview to Forbes magazine.

Prof. Orłowski goes back in memory to the time of Wladyslaw Grabski's government, when the zloty was introduced into circulation, and wonders what the current authorities can learn from that experience. He also touches on the possibility of introducing the euro in Poland and summarizes the economic fate of the zloty over the last century.
