XR_Games Showcase

The event will take placeon June 15, 2026, at 5:15 p.m. in Auditorium A/1

The XR_Games Showcase is an annual event organized by the XRC Students’ & Alumni Club at the PJAIT XR Center, the XR Department, and the XR_Games specialization, during which students present their final projects in the fields of gaming, XR technology, and interactive immersive systems. The event is a showcase. Participants can see the games in action, listen to short presentations (pitches) by the project teams, talk to the creators, and learn about the project development process from concept through prototyping and testing to the final presentation.

When and where?

This year, 13 final projects by students in the eXtended Reality, Games, and Immersive Systems specialization will be presented.
The event will take place on June 15, 2026, at 5:15 p.m. in Lecture Hall A/1.

Why is it worth coming?

In previous editions, one of the event’s greatest strengths was that it provided a platform to showcase the results of students’ months-long work in a format similar to an industry showcase. Students not only presented finished games and prototypes but also discussed design decisions, technical solutions, user testing, and team challenges. As a result, the event effectively demonstrates the practical, project-based nature of the computer science program atPJAIT the specialization track, as well as the competencies students develop through their thesis work.

The XR_Games Showcase may be of interest to professionals in the gaming industry, immersive technologies, interaction design, UX, technology education, and R&D. Student projects combine technical, creative, and research skills, so the event effectively demonstrates how an interdisciplinary approach can translate into the creation of games and interactive experiences.

See you there!
