We invite you to an exhibition of jazz posters by Niklaus Troxler. The exhibition will present about 60 posters by the artist.
Niklaus Troxler was born in Willisau, Switzerland, in 1947. He studied graphic design at the School of Art in Lucerne. He works in a wide range of disciplines, such as posters, books, album covers, architectural art and product design. His works are in permanent collections, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Museum of Industrial Art in Hamburg, the Poster Museum in Wilanow, the Poster Museum in Ogaki, and the German Poster Museum in Folkwang Essen. He conducts workshops, lectures and exhibitions around the world.
Niklaus Troxler will appear in person on the day of the exhibition's opening on December 6, 2024 at 5:00 pm, at PJAIT in Warsaw (Koszykowa 86). This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to talk with this extraordinary artist. Troxler will spend a week in Warsaw, leading a typography workshop for PJAIT students (9-13.12.2024).
The event is held under the honorary patronage of the Swiss Embassy in Poland. His Excellency Ambassador Fabrice Filliez will also be present at the exhibition. The curator of the exhibition is Dr. Monika Marek-Lucka.
