What Is Blockchain? A Guide to the Technology of the Future

A unique artistic mapping show took place in the Market Square in Stary Sącz, appearing in this city for the first time. The visual realization was created by Natalia Ślusarska and Zuzanna Gocławska, who are associated with the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw as lecturers and graduates of the university.
The mapping was presented as part of a multidisciplinary event organized by IMO Gallery. The visual project accompanied a concert and poetic performance inspired by the culture of the Carpathians, creating a coherent whole combining various fields of art—music, words, and images.
The projection was displayed on the facade of one of the tenement houses at the Main Market Square. Its concept was directly inspired by the exhibition "Emotions, Feelings, States" presented at the IMO Gallery. Thanks to this, art went beyond the gallery space and moved into the public space of the city, becoming accessible to a wide audience.
The authors of the project prepared visualizations after visiting the exhibition, which became the starting point for developing the mapping concept. Their work shows how visual technologies and new media can co-create contemporary artistic events and build a dialogue between digital art and urban space.
The project in Stary Sącz is an example of the growing presence of artists associated withPJAIT artistic and multimedia projects throughout Poland. Thanks to such initiatives, the skills acquired at the university—at the intersection of art, technology, and design—are applied in real cultural events and urban spaces.
