Cloud computing — a guide to cloud computing

Students of the JCC PJAIT are learning about the many dimensions of Japanese culture through regular meetings with lecturers, artists and artists from Japan. On May 16, 2024, as part of Dr. Jakub Karpoluk's JPC 2 class, master Tachibana Hisako led a class on traditional Japanese music. Students had a chance to listen to a concert and play the shamisen, one of Japan's most popular instruments.
Hisako Tachibana - master (shihan) of the koto harp and shamisen representing the Miyagi School, founder of the Sakura Okoto Music School. She has been playing solo concerts as well as collaborating with various instrumentalists (including piano, violin, clarinet, shinobue flute) for many years, and her repertoire includes traditional as well as contemporary pieces. The artist also creates musical settings for theatrical productions, and has performed in the musical Sendai Cat (Sendai Cat) and the play Two Women from the Land of Snow, among others. She has written music for plays written by Masaoka Shiki: Journey to the Land of Michinoku and The World of the Radiant Prince. She has performed in Japan, Poland, Australia, Malaysia and Singapore, among other countries.
